2) Scope
This policy covers personal data processed when you visit our websites, contact us, download resources, register for webinars, book consultations, or interact with our marketing. It does not cover customer data we process on behalf of clients in the delivery of services (that processing is governed by our client contracts and DPAs).

4) What we collect

5) How we use personal data (purposes & legal bases)
We process personal data for these purposes and, where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, under these legal bases:

Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor browser‑based opt‑out preference signals such as GPC for applicable jurisdictions. If we receive a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

7) Your privacy rights

Submit a request via {{/privacy-request}} or email info@praetoriansecure.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by law. Authorized agents (CA) may submit requests with proof of authorization.
Non‑discrimination (CA): We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8) How we share personal data
We do not sell personal information for money.
We do not share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising.
Disclosures to: service providers and processors (hosting, analytics, marketing platforms, CRM, scheduling), professional advisors, authorities where required by law, and as part of a business transaction (merger, acquisition). We require processors to use data only on our instructions and to protect it appropriately.
Sensitive PI (CA): We do not use or disclose sensitive PI for purposes other than those permitted by CPRA regulations.
9) International transfers
If you are in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, your data may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws (including the U.S.). Where required, we use approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures.
We are not currently self‑certified under the EU‑U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For cross‑border transfers from the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and appropriate supplementary measures.
When we complete DPF self‑certification and appear on the official list, we will replace this section with the participation notice above and link to our listing.
10) Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical controls appropriate to the nature of the data, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and periodic assessments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11) Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Criteria include the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data; potential risk of harm; and applicable legal obligations. When no longer needed, we delete or de‑identify the data.
12) Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13) Automated decision‑making
We do not use automated decision‑making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement. If this changes, we will provide meaningful information about the logic and potential consequences and your rights.
14) Do Not Track & preference signals
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals, which we do not respond to. We do honor legally recognized opt‑out preference signals such as GPC as described in Section 6.
